The USCA is Shaking Things Up at Pittsburgh
It’s not over until it’s over and the USCA still has a few cards up its sleeve that could really turn the season championship on its head. The final event of the 2014 season taking place at Pittsburg International Race Complex has been made a “double points” event – which can mean great news for those still fighting for their spot in November’s OPTIMA’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational. To drivers on the bubble, Pittsburgh offers a last minute opportunity to move your way up in the point standings to secure your spot at the OUSCI, while, to those on top, it can be the event that locks you into the top of the standings. If you have been looking for a chance to make up for a less than impressive finish or a mechanical failure at a previous event, then you don’t want to miss your chance to stage an epic comeback.
Check out the current standings here to see where you sit and see if attending the Pittsburgh event can benefit you. If you aren’t currently within 200 points of the lead, this could be your chance to propel yourself up in the driver standings and snag an invitation to the OUSCI. And if you are currently near the top, this event could be the deciding factor that secures your invitation.
