All of the May 2015 Updates You Need!

USCA_RaceRamp_Scale_600

The all new Race Ramps weight scale system, custom designed for USCA!

In this episode we had a chance to catch up on a few items that needed addressing (like the preview of the super cool K&N Helmet Prize and the back story of the all new Race Ramps Weight Scale setup), plus a few last-minute details for the upcoming June 6-7 event at the National Corvette Museum (NCM Registration – Click Here).

KandN_Helmet

The K&N OUSUC winner’s custom helmet!

With that all handled we tackled the latest article from OPTIMA Jim, and it’s a very important discussion that people looking to get into OUSCI on an Overall Points position will want to hear.

Long story short, because there are 4 classes this year instead of 3 as there were last year, and because there are 9 total events this year instead of 10 as there were last year, the number of available Overall Points slots has been reduced!  (Reminder – an Overall Points slot is one awarded to people with high overall points standings regardless of class who have not won an invite in another way).

This means that the upcoming double points events at Michigan International Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and AutoClub Speedway are more important than ever for those that want an extra shot at making it into the 2015 OUSCI. Be sure to register for these events soon!

Thanks much!
Rob & Jimi
