PowerStop E23 Pads are “Hellcat” ready!
Feature Interview:
Kris Miller with PowerStop Brakes!
In this episode we had the great opportunity to interview Kris Miller from PowerStop Brakes. Kris is the Brand Manager for PowerStop and was influential in their decision to sponsor the Speed Stop segment of all OSUSC events! He was specifically looking for a unique event that was both fun and functional, and the uber-popular Speed Stop segment fit the bill perfectly.
PowerStop manufactures a full line of passenger, performance, and track-day specific pads for most all OEM sized brake calipers as well as a full line of factory-replacement performance rotors. Direct replacement pads for several popular “big brake” aftermarket packages are also in the works. We asked Kris to walk us through the PowerStop lineup and explain the big difference they bring to the table. Long story short, their R&D has found was to create pads that are as effective – or even more effective – than other performance pads….but without the massive amount of brake dust that usually goes along with it. Their new factory Z-23 replacement pads for the Hellcat Challenger and Charger are one of the best (and most recent) examples.
While Kris was on he revealed the details of their ALL NEW Contingency program, effective at the April Las Vegas event going forward:
For the remainer of the Series Season: Power Stop will award a 3-Day Bondurant School Advanced Road Racing Dodge Viper TA 2.0 Course to the participant who has the most combined points across the season in autocross, speed stop, and road course. Advanced Road Racing Dodge Viper TA 2.0
At OUSCI: PowerStop will award the highest placed participant on PowerStop pads the Mac-Daddy 4-Day Bondurant School FORZA Motorsport Grand Prix Road Racing Course!
We wish all competitors luck in competing for these terrific prizes!
Thanks, Kris!
